Creating your Ceremony with Care

~ Say not in grief he is no more – but live in thankfulness that he was (Hebrew proverb)

The death of a loved one is a time of intense emotion when it can be difficult to think about how best to honour that person’s life.

I can help you create a ceremony that allows you, and those who knew and loved the one who has died, to pay tribute to that person and to express your grief in the way you want.

In the case of cremation I can help you craft a ceremony for scattering or burying the ashes.

Usually, you will make the funeral arrangements with the assistance of a funeral director who will help you with the death certificate and organise the burial or cremation.

The funeral director may suggest or recommend a celebrant to you – you can accept their suggestion or choose your own celebrant.

If you would like to use me as your funeral celebrant you can either contact me direct or give my details to the funeral director.

In either case, I will meet with you and your family to discuss the funeral service with you and craft a ceremony that uniquely honours and celebrates the life of your loved one.

"Thank you for coordinating the service for Sally yesterday - you did a great job - and my Dad was very impressed.  Thank you too for the beautifully presented booklets of the eulogy"  ~ Judy Gunning

~ Everything that has a beginning has an ending. Make your peace with that and all will be well (Buddhist saying)
