Creating your Ceremony with Care

Whatever your circumstances or wishes, it would be my great pleasure to meet with you to create a partnership ceremony that is memorable and meaningful to you –
a ceremony that is about what matters most to you.

~ What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined for life (George Eliot, 1819–80)

Do you want to publicly affirm and celebrate your relationship in front of family and friends whether or not you want to, or can legally, marry?

Is it your heart’s desire to affirm your love for and commitment to each other in a ceremony that celebrates and confirms your intention to join in a lifelong partnership?

A commitment ceremony enables you to do just that in whatever way you choose – perhaps by exchanging vows and rings or in a way unique and special to you.
Your ceremony can be whatever you want it to be – for example. just the two of you in a small, intimate exchange of vows and rings or a larger, more formal event involving family and friends, or an informal joyous celebration in the backyard.

“The civil partnership ceremony you created for us surpassed all our expectations. Your guidance and inspiration helped translate our ideas into a unique ceremony that was personal and so meaningful for us. When standing by your side to take our vows, your thoroughness with preparation and aura of calmness made us feel confident and proud. Our guests have been full of praise and found the ceremony an uplifting and happy experience. A big thank you from us”  ~ Des Jarrett & John Hague (London, UK)

~  There is only one happiness in life, to love & be loved (George Sand, 1804–76)
~ New love is the brightest, and long love is the greatest, but revived love is the tenderest thing on earth (Thomas Hardy, 1840–1928)

You may decide to renew your vows for any reason important to you; for example you may:
have reached a significant anniversary
be entering a new phase of your marriage – perhaps the kids have all left home or you have both retired
have together weathered a crisis or particularly stressful period and now want to reaffirm your love for each other and your commitment to your continued life together.

A renewal of vows ceremony provides space for reflection and celebration of your life together – either privately or with a gathering of family and friends to share the occasion.
